Coaching Basics

A business coach helps small businesses by offering guidance on setting clear goals, refining strategies, and improving operations. They provide tailored advice on marketing, finances, and customer relations, helping owners make better decisions. They offer fresh perspectives and provide accountability, ensuring consistent progress.

Ultimately, a business coach acts as a reliable partner, offering valuable insights and support to help small businesses thrive and achieve their goals.

2 - Get on Track

Understand where your business is at and build a plan.

3 - Get Stuff Done

Let’s work together and make it happen.

3 - Get Results

Making your goals a reality.

4 - Get Support

And hold you accountable.

Accountability to keep you on track

As your business coach I’ll hold you accountable by setting clear goals and checking in regularly to ensure progress.

We’ll work together and create achievable plans and set specific targets, making sure everyone knows what needs to be done.

It’ll be like having a supportive partner, regularly reviewing your business’s performance against these goals.

I ask questions, offer advice, and provide feedback to keep your business on track.

If things aren’t going as planned, I will help identify why and figure out solutions.

This accountability fosters a culture of responsibility, drives continuous improvement, and helps your business achieve its objectives.

What Clients Say:

I had been in Business for more than 20 year’s and wanted to sell my business.

I did not know how to do this and engaged Malcolm to show me a plan to selling my business.

He provided me with a clear plan and actions – real life things to do to and put in place ways that held me and my staff accountable for making the changes we needed to make.

The process took about 18 months – and we were able to sell the business for a sum I was very happy with.

John

At the time I met with Malcolm, my business was struggling, we were barely able to meet our monthly commitments.

I was tired and run down and working long hours. I was asking myself – ”why am I doing this? ”

With Malcolm’s support we made some urgent changes, returning the business to profitability and easing the Cashflow constraints.

After this initial work we have now put a plan in place to grow the business.

Once we have achieved some targets we will begin to prepare the business for sale – I now feel much happier and I can see a way forward.

Peter

We had big issues with staff – poor performance, high turnover and poor morale.

Working with Malcolm we ‘went back to basics’ – we looked at who was doing what, we agreed clear performance outcomes with staff, decided on how to measure these and we dealt with those who did not share our vision.

We also looked at our recruitment and on-boarding processes and we think we will do better in this area going forward.

All in all – it was hard, but well worthwhile.
